The R756 engine is now available in the EH version. This engine meets both Euro VI Step E European Regulations requirements for on-road heavy duty vehicles and Stage V emissions for off-road applications. Compared to its Step C predecessor, the EH engine has higher power and torque values of 15% and 20% respectively.
This 4.5L, 6-cylinder inline engine is available with a power range of 115 to 132kW and a torque value of 600Nm at 1200 rpm. Combined with its low height and reduced levels of vibrations and noise, this makes it the perfect solution for applications requiring a compact, but powerful, engine.
Development of this engine centred around the addition of a variable geometry turbocharger, new EGR system and the optimisation of the combustion system for the higher power output.
The engine maintains the potential for customisation and is characterised by its separate DPF and SCR making it possible to adapt to all types of installation.
For more details of this engine, including the main technical specifications, power curves, characteristics and basic bill of material, please consult the data sheet available on our website.

Our R754 engine has been upgraded to meet Euro VI Step E European Regulations requirements for on-road heavy duty vehicles.
This 3.0L, 4-cylinder engine has a power output of 80kW at 2600rpm and a torque value of 420Nm at just 1100 rpm making it the ideal solution for on-road industrial applications such as road sweepers and multipurpose vehicles
This new engine version has improved its emission rating while maintaining the same hardware, proving its robustness and potential for further upgrades.
The Euro VI Step E development was focused mainly on new software strategies and calibration.
The engine layout is highly customisable and is characterised by its separate DPF and SCR making it possible to adapt to all types of installation.
Moreover, this new engine is also compatible with Stage V for off-road applications where it is especially appreciated for its gear-driven timing and integrated side power take-off.
For more details of this engine, including the main technical specifications, power curves, characteristics and basic bill of material, please consult the data sheet available on our web-site.

As of July 2019, VM started the production of the new engines range, which meet the European emission limits for heavy duty trucks EURO VI D.
In order to comply with the severe polluting limits an innovate technology for the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) has been introduced, together with the optimization of combustion with new calibration strategies.
We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with Cosielsa to act as our first authorised distributer for our Industrial & Marine engines in Mexico.

The 2019 edition of the Genoa Boat Show ended successfully
Even this year, VM participated with the dealer Lorenzoni, presenting the new MR506SH3 & MR506SS3 engines, respectively with 270 HP and 230 HP of max power.
VM’s R754 EURO VI A-C-D and R754ISE5 Stage V engines have been tested to verify their suitability for the use of HVO EN 15940 ecological fuel. The tests have demonstrated that HVO fuel can be safely used with no impact on emissions, performance or reliability, and without requiring modifications to the engine or additional maintenance.
HVO fuel is an ecological and sustainable synthetic diesel which is produced mainly from renewable sources such as oils and vegetable fats. The hydrogenation process creates a high-quality paraffinic fuel which has a high cetane number (>70) and a pure composition. Its density is around 7% less than diesel making it more stable. Compared to traditional diesel fuel, HVO has a reduced aromatic and sulphur content while the H/C (hydrogen/carbon) ration is slightly higher. Additionally, it is not susceptible to bacterial growth therefore making it ideal for long storage. HVO fuel is particularly suitable for rigid climates where the high cetane number and low gelling point (-32°C) make it ideal for cold starts. It can be blended and used in any proportion with diesel which allows for ease of transition.
